It´s got a strong body, a bit compressed, and a big head with spines and stings. It´s got a huge mouth, with small appendixes on the nostrils and chin.

It´s dorsal fin is clearly divided. On one side it has
11-12 bony radiuses whose roots hold poisonouds glands. The other side is softer and has softer radiuses.
